Starting in travel at 16 I now have over 40 years experience much of that spent at Thirsk Travel which I started in 1992.

I have travelled widely from Durham to New Zealand and many parts in between.

After all these years I still truly enjoy what I do and get the thrill of seeing clients who come home having had a wonderful holiday, many of these are like family and book year after year, so much so that I am now seeing the great-grandchildren of some of them!

Working in Travel since 2005, I have arranged many bespoke holidays for people all over the UK and further afield. When booking with us you receive our personal service, our independent expert advice and years of knowledge. 

Joining Thirsk Travel back in early 2018 after moving to the area, it opened up a new chapter. Not by making new customers but making new friends along the way.

In 2022, our store celebrated 30 years of being on the high street - So why no give us a try!

Joining the Travel Industry in the early 1970’s I have always worked in the independent industry, both on the high street with Travel Agency shops, and currently in the homeworking division for Thirsk Travel.

I have always enjoyed both Ocean and River cruising and as a member of CLIA the cruise industry special Agents scheme, Visit USA the specialist agent scheme for the USA and the Equivalent scheme ‘down under’ the Aussie specialist. These allow me to book you bespoke itineraries for Cruise, USA & Canada and further afield.
