This  tour travels through a picturesque yet seldom visited area of South Africa before entering Namibia. Enjoy the spectacular sights of Southern Namibia including the vast Fish River Canyon and the awe-inspiring dunes at Sossusvlei, the stark beauty of Damaraland and one of Africa finest National Parks; Etosha, before ending in the capital of Namibia, Windhoek.

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town

Dominated by spectacular Table Mountain, Cape Town is a city with a beautiful coastline, world-class cuisine, excellent wineries and interesting architecture. Spend the night enjoying all the wonderful city has to offer. Overnight: Standard level Hotel

Day 2: Cape Town - Lamberts Bay

Depart Cape Town and head north for the scenic area known as the West Coast, Lamberts Bay is a quaint little fishing town that’s easily explored on foot. Overnight: Standard level Hotel

Day 3: Lamberts Bay - Orange River

Leave the coast and South Africa behind and head north-west to the Orange River for the night. You have the option of enjoying a canoe trip on this mighty river. Overnight: Standard level Hotel

Day 4: Orange River - Fish River Canyon

A truly spectacular sight to behold, especially at sunset, the Fish River Canyon is the 2nd largest canyon in the world and its orange-pink hues and momentous size are awe-inspiring. Overnight: Lodge

Days 5 & 6: Sossusvlei

Today, travel to one of Africa’s greatest sights, the Namib Desert. With their magnificent red/orange tones and fascinating shapes, the most spectacular of the Namib Desert’s vast dune fields can be found in the Sossusvlei area. Overnight: Guesthouse

Days 7 & 8: Swakopmund

In stark contrast to the sands of the Namib Desert, Swakopmund sits on Namibia’s Atlantic Coast, virtually surrounded by the Namib Desert, and has beautiful colonial architecture and a large array of adventure sports on offer. Overnight: Standard level Hotel

Days 9 & 10: Damaraland

Travel into the heart of Damaraland, a region of contrasts and home to Namibia’s highest peak, ancient rock paintings, welwitchia plants and petrified forests. Visit the surrounding sights such as Twyfelfontein Heritage Site and The Petrified Forest. Overnight: Lodge

Days 11 & 12: Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park is home to a wide range of Southern Africa’s wildlife, including all the ‘Big 5’. Namibia has protected its game reserves against poaching so there are large herds of elephants, antelope and other herbivores. Enjoy a game drive exploring this impressive National Park. Overnight: Lodge

Day 13: Depart Windhoek

The old German colonial town of Windhoek has been blended into a modern city. The German architecture of the older buildings lends the town a historic atmosphere. Depart for your onward or homebound journey.
